Having been granted a restraining order, the 'Dr. Ken' actress explains that she finally decided to press charges against her estranged husband because she 'can no longer live in fear of retaliation.'

AceShowbiz - Tisha Campbell-Martin and Duane Martin's divorce battle turned really ugly on Monday, January 27, after she opened up about years of alleged abuse.

The actress claims her estranged husband's mental and emotional abuse began shortly after they wed in 1996 and she alleges he once punched her in the chest.

In new documents, obtained by TMZ, Tisha claims she filed a police report in January about multiple alleged physical altercations.

She also accuses Duane of berating her about her weight.

"I can no longer live in fear of retaliation...," she says. "The need (to) press criminal charges for his acts overshadows the embarrassment of making his crimes against me public through this report."

Campbell-Martin has been granted a temporary restraining order, which requires Duane to stay at least 100 yards away from her.

The actress filed for divorce a year ago (February 2018), moving to end the former couple's 21-year marriage.
