Reeves' titular character turns to Halle Berry's Sofia for help when a $14 million bounty is placed on his head.

AceShowbiz - Keanu Reeves' John Wick is on the run in the newly-released first trailer for "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum". In the upcoming movie, the titular character is facing the consequence of killing a member of the High Table in 2017's "John Wick: Chapter 2".
Every assassin in the city is after him as a $14 million bounty is placed on his head. "There's no escape for you," The Director (Anjelica Huston) says to John in the video. With no place to hide, John turns to his last resort of help, Halle Berry's Sofia, an assassin and a close friend of John.
The two team up to fight against bounty hunters hell bent on killing John for the big prize, joined by their dogs. "If you want peace, prepare for war," the trailer warns.
The official synopsis reads, "In this third installment of the adrenaline-fueled action franchise, super-assassin John Wick returns with a $14 million price tag on his head and an army of bounty-hunting killers on his trail. After killing a member of the shadowy international assassin's guild, the High Table, John Wick is excommunicado, but the world's most ruthless hit men and women await his every turn."
Ian McShane returns as Winston, the owner and manager of the Continental Hotel in New York. Laurence Fishburne returns as The Bowery King, an underground crime lord, though it's not clear which side he's on after he reluctantly helped John in the second film. Lance Reddick is also back as Charon, the concierge at the Continental Hotel in New York.
New additions to the cast also include Robin Lord Taylor as The Administrator, Asia Kate Dillon as The Adjudicator, Jason Mantzoukas as Tick Tock Man and Jerome Flynn.
Chad Stahelski serves as director, with the script provided by Derek Kolstad. Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee produce the pic, which is set for a May 17 release in the United States.
