Months after publicly shaming the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper and the TV sisters for promoting weight-loss products, 'The Good Place' actress clarifies why she made a fiery post against them.

AceShowbiz - Jameela Jamil has insisted she "loves" Cardi B and the Kardashians, despite publicly slamming them for promoting weight-loss products.

"The Good Place" star has been outspoken on social media against celebrities who endorse so-called detox teas, including the "Bodak Yellow" rapper, who promotes the products to her 39.5 million Instagram followers.

Back in November (2018), she posted about a brand of teas, and encouraged her fans to buy them, leading Jameela to share a fiery post in which she alleged the weight-loss products were just laxatives.

"I hope all these celebrities all s**t their pants in public, the way the poor women who buy this nonsense upon their recommendation do," she raged.

However, the British actress revealed she still admires Cardi, and the Kardashian sisters, who have also previously promoted the teas, and slammed the companies who were exploiting vulnerable women into losing weight.

"I love Cardi B! I just don't like laxative tea! That's all. That's my only problem," Jameela told Entertainment Tonight. "That's why I was sad she was promoting it. I think people think I hate the Kardashians! I don't hate them. I just, I really hate laxative tea."

"I think I'm slowly but surely making it too disgusting and too embarrassing to promote those teas for everyone," she laughed. "And then we could all live happily ever after!".

In November, Jameela shared a mosaic photo of some of the stars - including Cardi - who endorsed the controversial teas, and called them out for supposedly misrepresenting the effects of the diet supplement.

"Give us the discount codes to your nutritionists, personal chefs, personal trainers, airbrushers and plastic surgeons you bl**dy liars," Jameela wrote.
