AceShowbiz - One week after stars from the big and small screen were honored at the annual 76th Golden Globes Awards, they once again gathered for the 24th Critics Choice Awards which was held on Sunday night, January 13 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. Before they took the stage to accept the awards, these A-listers hit the red carpet to show off their best outfits first.
While most of the female attendees opted for ballgowns when they arrived at the 2019 Golden Globes, this time around, some of them decided to go for an angelic look with soft-colored dresses. Among them were Lady GaGa and Emily Blunt.
Even though her dress was much more simpler than the one she wore at the Golden Globes, GaGa didn't look any less stunning. The singer and actress wowed in a floor-length, cream strapless gown while styling her hair in Hollywood curls. The "A Star Is Born" actress kept her accessories simple by only sporting diamond studs.
Blunt looked equally divine when she arrived with her husband John Krasinski. For her look that night, the "Mary Poppins Returns" star donned a startling white gown with embellished neckline. Carrying a matching clutch, Blunt additionally wore diamond-drop earrings.
Not only showing off her gorgeous dress, Constance Wu debuted her new hairstyle when she posed on the red carpet. Sporting front bangs, the "Crazy Rich Asians" actress bared her cleavage in a sparkling pink gown with plunging neckline. Completing her look were a matching clutch and a pair of earrings.
Poppy Delevingne similarly ditched her bra as she rocked a cream gown and a chic up-do hairstyle. Teaming the look with drop earrings, the "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" star sported natural but glowing makeup, which included a nude lipstick. Meanwhile, Jodie Comer dazzled in a semi-sheer floor-length gown which featured leafy applique all over. Similar to other stars, the "Killing Eve" star accessorized her look with drop earrings.
Hosted by Taye Diggs, the 2019 Critics' Choice Awards is currently airing on The CW. "The Favourite" leads the film nominations, whilst "The Americans" and "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" dominate the TV nominations.
