During the launching party for her collaboration with Buxom, the 31-year-old actress talked about how it is more important to take reign of one's own life rather than comparing it to others. "It's so important to take time to design the life you want to live, as opposed to looking at how other people are living their life," she said to E! News.

She continued, "You're never going to be able to please everybody, so social media is just my tool to share my experience and inspire people and let them know what's out there." Furthermore, she had a message to convey to people who are addicted to social media, "Connect with yourself before you connect to the world."

"We're so bombarded with images and noises at all hours, it's nice to have a black screen just have a conversation with yourself," she said. "As crazy as that may seem, some times you can get a lot of answers and realize a lot of things you may be asking when you have a moment to yourself."

For the "The Possession of Hannah Grace" star, real life is more of a priority than her presence on social media. "To be honest, I do have a limit to social media, whether it looks like it or not," she spilled. "Being so active on social media, and seeing the positive and negative effects that it can have on anybody, I really did realize how important it is to connect to yourself."

Back in July 2018, Mitchell announced her collaboration with Buxom cosmetics. They launched a product called PillowPout Creamy Plumping Lip Powder that will give anyone who use it plump lips. Mitchell herself has tried on the product in a video on her Instagram account. According to the video, the product is "lightweight," "super soft," and comes in 10 different shades.
