On Tuesday, January 2, the 36-year-old actress garnered hilarious online responses from social media users for looking like 68-year-old Kris with the fresh haircut. In the comments section of her new Instagram post, one in particular wrote, "Raise your hand if you did a double take and thought this was Kris Jenner for a hot minute."

The comments did not stop there. Another joked, "Hokayyy looks like you borrowed one of Kris Jenner's wigs." A third stated, "I want it to give Toni Braxton but it's giving Kris Jenner," adding a smiling face with tears of joy emoji.

In the meantime, other users showed that they like Shay's new look. One of them showered her with praise, "Officially feel old. I don't get kris Jenner vibes at all. I get 90's supermodel and love it." Meanwhile, others compared Shay to Kris' daughter Kylie Jenner and actress Halle Berry.

The online responses came shortly after Shay debuted the new hairstyle via Instagram. On Monday, January 1, she uploaded a series of photos showing her fresh haircut. In the snaps, it could be seen that she chopped off her long black locks and traded them for a pixie cut. Despite the changes, she maintained the color of the tresses.

Shay showed off the fresh look as she struck a number of poses in a daring outfit. She donned nothing under an unbuttoned black crop blazer, which came with two long sleeves. She also wore a pair of long medium blue denim pants, black sunglasses, pearl-drop earrings and black pointed-toe high heels.

Previously, Shay had longer hair in the same black color. The tresses were long enough to reach her lower back. She liked to part them in the middle and style them into a simple straight hairdo, a high bun or a low ponytail.
