Sharing a red carpet photo of her from a CNN article on her social media account, the 'Halloween' star calls out the sponsor of the awards show for its 'blatant promotions'.

AceShowbiz - Jamie Lee Curtis has slammed brand Fiji Water for picturing her next to their product against her will.

The actress took to Instagram on Tuesday, January 08 night to blast the company, one of the sponsors of the Golden Globe Awards, for its "blatant promotion" at Sunday's ceremony, after being photobombed on the red carpet by one of their models Kelleth Cuthbert - whose photos with the stars went viral.

The 60-year-old actress' husband Christopher Guest came across the photo on CNN in an article about the viral news story.

And Jamie, who explained she "specifically moved away from the blatant promotions by Fiji... where young women with their trays filled with their wares stood near a designated camera", hit out at the company for not seeking permission from guests.

"I knew why there was a photographer poised there and I moved away as I said out loud that I didn't want to be doing advertising for either," she explained in her post.

However, despite attempting to move out of the way and voicing her objection to being pictured next to the product, the 60-year-old was still photographed with the model, dubbed the 'Fiji Water Girl'.

"Clearly this angle shows that I moved from her being behind me and yet from the side it still happens," raged the star. "The sponsors of events need to get permission from people when they get them to take their picture next to products."

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kelleth herself suggested her positioning was less than accidental.

"It's all strategic," the model, who managed to insert herself into pictures with stars including Richard Madden, Amy Adams and Jim Carrey explained. "You've got to angle."

Fiji Water has yet to respond to Jamie's post.
