The items belonging to the 'OMG' hitmaker are among the 2,000-plus articles valued at over $2 million discovered at the house of the man suspected of being involved in celebrities home burglary.

AceShowbiz - A man suspected of stealing from Usher's home in March (18) has been arrested.

In March, thieves targeted the "Burn" star's Spanish-style villa in Los Angeles, which was on the market at the time, and took $20,000 (£16,000) in cash as well as jewellery and watches totalling $800,000 (£630,000).

According to TMZ.com, a man suspected of being involved in the heist, as well as other celebrity burglaries, has been arrested by police officers, who searched the suspect's home with a warrant and discovered more than 2,000 items valued at over $2 million (£1.6 million), some of which included Usher's belongings, as well as items belonging to an undetermined member of the "Real Housewives" reality TV franchise.

Law enforcement sources told reporters that the suspect would allegedly go to open houses to scope out the properties and return later to carry out the burglaries. The suspect reportedly explained his newfound wealth to his family members by saying he was doing well in the stock market.

A number of celebrities fell victim to burglaries last year, but it is not clear which other heists the suspect was allegedly involved in. He is not connected to a big bust in early 2018 in which multiple suspects were charged with stealing from the homes of singers Rihanna and Christina Milian, actress Viola Davis and baseball star Yasiel Puig.

Reports at the time of the burglary revealed how Usher's estranged wife Grace Miguel alerted the authorities after learning of the incident from the housekeeper. She told police she believed the thief had unlocked a window while visiting the open house and returned later. Security footage was unavailable as the recording box was missing and the wires had been cut.

The three-storey 1920s Mediterranean-style mansion was listed in February and was sold for $3.3 million (£2.6 million) at the end of the year.

Usher and Miguel announced their separation in March, and the R&B star filed papers to officially end their three-year marriage at the end of December.
