AceShowbiz - Rock legend Billy Joel will celebrate his 70th birthday onstage with a special concert in his native New York.
The "Piano Man" icon has decided to spend the evening of his age milestone on May 9, 2019 with fans at the fabled Madison Square Garden venue, where he will perform the 64th consecutive show of his record-breaking monthly residency.
Billy has played his hits-packed set to adoring crowds since its launch in 2014, and in July (2018), marked the 100th gig of his career at the famed arena.
The singer was joined at the landmark concert by his old pal, Bruce Springsteen, with whom he belted out renditions of The Boss' "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" and "Born to Run".

The show was made all the more notable as it took place on what is now known as "Billy Joel Day", following an official proclamation by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
