The star of 'Percy Jackson' film franchise is in talk to star on the new drama series that is created by David Weil and has director Jordan Peele serving as executive producer.

AceShowbiz - Actor Logan Lerman is in talks to return to TV in Jordan Peele's new Nazi hunter drama series.

The Percy Jackson franchise star has been offered the lead in "The Hunt", which centres on a character named Jonah Heidelbaum who sets out to track down his grandmother's murderer, and quickly finds himself involved in a group of people determined to out secret Nazi officials living under new identities in the U.S. during the late 1970s.

Created by David Weil, the show is fictional, although it draws from some real-life events.

Amazon officials have optioned a 10-episode first season of the series, which "Get Out" director Peele will co-executive produce.

If Lerman signs on, it will mark the 26-year-old's first return to the small screen since starring in futuristic drama series "Jack & Bobby", which ran for a single season from 2004 to 2005.
