AceShowbiz - Fresh off scoring his second No. 1 album on Billboard 200, Meek Mill has unearthed a music video for "Championships" opener track "Intro". Making its way out on Monday, December 10, the visuals was directed by Kid Art and executive produced by Cartier Brown and Jonathan Olson.

The video is far from the word flashy, featuring Meek standing at the forefront of his loyal supporters as he candidly narrates his rise from the trenches to becoming the man that he is today. Making a cameo in the blue-tinted, shadow-cast visuals are Casanova, Lil Durk and Melii. There are also quick flashes of crime scenes and bullet shell casings while Meek raps about what he has to overcome to be there.

"All this f***ing money, I ain't got no time for chilling/ We too rich to look like this to all that killing and drug dealing/ You my n***a, I f**k with you, we gon' thug it out," he spits. "Say it's beef? We going to war, n***a, let's slug it out/ Big Bad Wolf, we at your door, blood in your f***ing house."

Talking about the song in an interview with The Breakfast Club last week, the hip-hop star said, "I just feel like the way it was put together was needed in these times right now. Kendrick [Lamar] sells this on his block, J. Cole sells this on his block, and I always just wanted to have my own block. I just think there was a wide open space for someone to do it. This type of music is some s**t that a lot of people could relate to."

Featuring the likes of Cardi B, Drake and Jay-Z, "Championships" hit the stores on November 30. It debuted atop Billboard 200 with 229,000 units, marking his second No. 1 album, and logged the ninth-largest streaming week of 2018 for an album.
