The Duke of Cornwall reveals the names that he thinks will make it to the shortlist and which names that will not.

AceShowbiz - People are wondering what will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle name their royal baby. While the expectant couple stays mum on the matter, Harry's father Prince Charles appears to hint at his unborn grandchild's possible names.

The Prince of Wales attended a reception celebrating the centenary of Australia House, Australia's oldest diplomatic post, in London on Thursday night, November 22. During his speech, the Duke of Cornwall joked that the young royals might take inspiration from their recent Australian trip to Australia for the monikers of their bundle of joy.

"Incidentally, ladies and gentlemen, my son Harry tells me that during their recent tour of Australia he and his wife were offered countless thoughtful suggestions for the naming of their baby," the 70-year-old Prince told the crowd. "Just between us, I suspect Kylie and Shane made the cut." It seemed like he was referencing popstar Kylie Minogue and cricketer Shane Warne.

He didn't stop here with the tease though. As comedian Barry Humphries, who is known for his TV alter-egos Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson, was among the guests, Prince Charles continued saying, "But ladies and gentlemen I would not hold your breath for Edna or Les." The comedian was reportedly chuckling at the Prince's tribute.

Harry and Meghan announced the baby news on October 15, just hours after the royal couple landed on Australia for their 16-day royal tour in Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand. "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter.

"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public," the statement continued.
