AceShowbiz - Bosses at the booking agency formerly used by 6ix9ine a.k.a.Tekashi69 have hit back at theft allegations.

The "Gummo" hitmaker surprised fans when he recently cancelled his tour and fired his whole team, before revealing he was about to drop a new album.

He later appeared on "The Breakfast Club" radio show, and claimed he was only getting paid a fraction of the money he was owed out of a pot of approximately $3.6 million (£2.8 million), and accused executives at MTA Booking of stealing from him.

Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, also alleged that when he refused to take to the stage at a gig, he was threatened with possible harm being brought on his mother.

However, according to editors at TMZ, a representative for MTA Booking has now asserted that the rapper's accusations are unwarranted, and denied there was ever a concert deal.

They added that their team worked tirelessly to ensure Tekashi's safety, and with the help of Tr3way Entertainment, MTA staff reportedly handled the rapper's security, travel, transportation and made sure he showed up to his multiple court appearances.

The MTA rep also claimed they booked the 22-year-old's nine upcoming U.S. shows and two in Mexico, and he was sent a $700,000 (£545,000) deposit for those gigs.

There were also five shows booked in Germany for which he was already paid $160,000 (£125,000) in deposits.

Bosses at MTA are now considering taking legal action against Tekashi over the allegations he made during the radio interview.

However, Tekashi's attorney, Lance Lazzaro, fired back and told TMZ: "We have asked (MTA) to show us any contracts with Tekashi69's signature showing they were acting as an agent to book performances on his behalf and they haven't provided us with any to date. Their cooperation has been very limited. I would take anything MTA says with a grain of salt."
