Ayanna Joni and Lynnea Moorer then took the stage for Kelsea to decide the winner who would be the 13th contestant to advance. First up was Ayanna, performing Ariana Grande's "No Tears Left to Cry". Meanwhile, Lynnea opted to belt out "Boo'd Up" by Ella Mai for her performance.

After the commercial break, it was revealed that Lynnea led the results of live Twitter vote by gaining 87% of the votes to Ayanna's 13%. Carson then announced Lynnea as the winner and she joined Team Kelly without hesitation.

Next, Team Jennifer took the stage for their results. MaKenzie Thomas and Kennedy Holmes advanced to the next round. Meanwhile, J. Hud decided to save SandyRedd. With that, all three of J. Hud's male artists were eliminated.

Carson later announced the results for Team Kelly. It was revealed that America saved Chevel Shepherd and Sarah Grace. To round out the Top 13, Kelly chose Kymberli Joye.

Rounding out the night was Backstreet Boys. The group hit the stage to perform their new single "Chances".
