The award-winning songstress appears in KYLE's music video as a host of the 1-800-LUV-FUNK heartbreak hotline.

AceShowbiz - Is this the season for those who get their heart break? Following Ariana Grande's hit breakup anthem "Thank U, Next", rapper KYLE unveiled the music video for his Alessia Cara-assisted "Babies" on Thursday, November 8.

Directed by Kid Studio, the video opens with a bleak breakup scene between the "iSpy" hitmaker and his girlfriend. But rest assured, the clip won't take to a more depressing turn as the setting shifts to a more vibrant area, flipping the mood. He is later seen recalling the good and bad from their relationship while having a picnic in a forest. Trying to get his girlfriend back, he shoots a love arrow to her head.

Alessia appears in the vibrant clip as a host of the 1-800-LUV-FUNK heartbreak hotline, doing her work properly since KYLE is too busy playing with his phone to even care about his work. That certainly pisses her off, telling her collaborator to go back to work. In another scene, the award-winning songstress plays cupid in a pair of wings and neon blue lipstick as she flies across the sky.

"And I wear my feelings on my sleeve/ And I consume your energy/ But you speak a language I don't know, no no no," she sings. "First you, yes no, guess so, for sure, stop go/ Just slow down/ And this ain't easy 1-2-3's, no one thought me how to love you."

Towards the end of the video, KYLE and his girlfriend rekindle their romance.

"Babies" is among the tracks off KYLE's debut album "Light of Mine" which hit the shelves back in May. The California native is currently traveling the world for a his headlining "Lightspeed World Tour" in support of the record. The trek will conclude in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 19, 2019.
