The comedian, just recently split from the 'God Is a Woman' singer, jokes about his failed relationships that seemingly leaves a bad taste in the latter's mouth.

AceShowbiz - Isn't it too soon? Pete Davidson is making his first appearance on "Saturday Night Live" following her split from Ariana Grande. Joining Jonah Hill and Maggie Rogers in a new promo for this week's episode of the NBC comedy show, Pete appears to make a joke about his split.

After Jonah introduces himself as the host of the Saturday, November 3 episode with singer Maggie as the musician guest, Pete quips, "Hey Maggie, I'm Pete." He then adds, "You wanna get married?" while Jonah can be seen getting all cringed in the middle.

As for Meggie's answer, the "Alaska" singer simply and quickly says, "No." That prompts 24-year-old Pete to say, "0-3."

It seems like he's referencing to his failed relationships. While it's publicly known that he previously got engaged to Ariana for a while, it remains to be seen whether he actually got on his knee while dating his other ex-girlfriends. Prior to Ariana, he dated Larry David's daughter Cazzie David and "Girl Code" star Carly Aquilino.

The joke apparently doesn't sit well with Ariana as the "No Tears Left to Cry" singer tells PEOPLE, "It was way too much too soon. It's not shocking to anyone."

The "God Is a Woman" also took to Twitter to seemingly call out her ex-fiance. "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh," she tweeted in a now-deleted post, before adding in another, "thank u, next."

Even though she didn't name names when she posted the tweet, her reply to a fan's post appeared to answer that her previous tweet was directed at Pete. "tag yourself i'm maggie," so the said fan wrote on the micro-blogging, to which Ariana simply replied with a dot.
