The 'Your Body Is a Wonderland' hitmaker sets the record straight a week after he told Cazzie David on his unofficial Instagram Live show, 'Current Mood', that his body count is a 'soft 500.'

AceShowbiz - John Mayer has insisted he's actually only slept with six people - despite his previous boast that he has bedded around 500.
The 41-year-old singer, who counts Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson among his famous exes, recently opened up about his busy sex life in a chat for Cazzie David's unofficial Instagram Live show, "Current Mood".
Asked by Cazzie to indicate just how many women have shared his bed, John was told to "blink twice if you have slept with over 800 people" or "blink once if you have slept with over 500 people." Both times, the "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer pointedly stared straight into the camera, before telling the host his body count is a "soft 500."
The remark caused a storm on social media, and led to John recalculating the figure - revealing the results on another episode of "Current Mood" on Sunday, October 28.
"I made reference to being a sub-500 guy and you guys, I know, listen, it's a tough world out there and you want people to like you. And I try to do it too," he explained. "But I feel like people might like you more if you would just go along with what the truth is... I also just wanna say that I thought about it over the week and I actually went back over my entire dating history and... my number is six. So I just wanted you to know that. That my number is six."
As well as Jennifer and Jessica, John has enjoyed relationships with stars such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Katy Perry.
He's also reported to have had flings with Renee Zellweger, Kim Kardashian, Minka Kelly, Mandy Moore, Cameron Diaz and Rashida Jones.
