Revealing the cover of his new record on Instagram, the former boyfriend of Noah Cyrus tells his fans that the album 'is for everyone and anyone you lost in life.'

AceShowbiz - Lil Xan dedicated his new album to his friend, the late Mac Miller.

The rapper, real name Diego Leanos, is honouring Miller's memory by including him in the artwork for his new album, "Be Safe".

Dressed in a bright orange sweatshirt and round glasses, the "Nikes on My Feet" hitmaker takes on a God-like image as he cradles a graveyard in his cupped hands.

Miller, real name Malcolm McCormick, died of an apparent overdose on 7 September. He was 26.

Xan shared the album artwork with his followers on Instagram, and wrote: "This Album is for everyone and anyone you lost in life."

The album name also takes inspiration from Miller, as it is the last thing that he said to his friend before his death.

"Before I left, he was like, 'Be safe.' People say that you know, like, 'be safe,'" Xan shared in a recent interview. "But he grabbed me, and he pulled me back and he was like, 'No, I mean be safe.' That almost made me cry, that's my idol right there."

He also considered quitting music. "When your hero dies, f**k that s**t, I don't want to make music no more," he said.

Following Mac's shocking death, Xan publicly mourned the loss of his "hero" and friend.

"I'm so f***ing mad rn (right now) at the world,I F***ING MISS YOU MAC," he wrote on Instagram.

Xan later embarked on a U.S. tour, which gave him the opportunity to visit Miller's hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While there, the young rapper got the chance to see the Blue Slide Park that inspired some of his friend's music, and was a place Miller frequently played at as a child.

"Be Safe" is due to be released on 3 December.
