The 'Gone Girl' actor reportedly 'will always want the best for Jen,' who is rumored to be dating businessman and multi-millionaire John Miller.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck has nothing but well wishes for ex Jennifer Garner, who is rumored to have found a new love in businessman John Miller. The Batman depicter is said to feel "relieved" upon hearing the news.

"It's good for Ben," a source tells Radar Online. "Friends really think this will give him closure and freedom."

"Ben will always want the best for Jen," a Ben pal further reveals to PEOPLE. "They continue to have a really strong relationship and both work very hard to make everything easy for the kids. She has always been supportive of him."

Ben is currently focusing on his health as he just finished his 30-day rehab stint for his alcohol treatment last month. It was rumored that his split from "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus contributed to his decision to turn back to the alcohol before Jen staged an intervention and drove him to a rehabilitation facility in Malibu.

Following Ben's rehab stint, Jennifer and Ben had decided to finalize their divorce. "Jen has been wanting to move on and now when the divorce is finalized, she finally can," a source previously said. "She has had no choice but to be patient since Ben needed to finish his rehab treatment. But she was ready to sign the papers."

Rumors of Jennifer and John dating broke yesterday. The "Peppermint" actress and the multi-millionaire, who is also chairman and chief executive officer of CaliGroup, a company which owns a chain of CaliBurger restaurants and Miso Robotics, were said to be having been together for six months, "and it's getting pretty serious," another source revealed. "Jen brings out the best in John, and he is the happiest he has probably ever been. It's a loving, healthy relationship."

However, it appeared that John is currently embroilling in nasty child custody battle against estranged wife Caroline Campbell, who accused him of being controlling and punishing. Caroline claimed in court documents, obtained by Radar Online, that John, with whom she shares two children together, uses his position of power over her. She adds that it leaves her with no choice rather than grovelling and begging in order to see their children.
