The three-minute visuals features the Swedish singer sending footage of herself to her ex-boyfriend, hoping that it will bring him back to her.

AceShowbiz - Following the release of her latest single "Ruin My Life" last week, Zara Larsson has treated fans to a music video for the new bop as promised. The visuals arrived on Tuesday, October 23 and features her coping with loneliness after her ex-boyfriend leaves her alone.

In the three-minute clip, the Swedish songstress is seen filming footage of herself on a bed, eating dinner and dancing on a table before sending it to her ex-boyfriend, hoping he will see it. Fans are also treated to scenes of Zara flaunting her hot bod in different kind of outfits while singing about the dynamic of a toxic relationship.

"You set fire to my world, couldn't handle the heat/ Now I'm sleeping alone and I'm starting to freeze/ Baby, come bring me help/ Let it rain over me," she sings. Towards the end of the video, her ex-boyfriend drives to her home to give her an immediate visit the second he sees all the footage she sends to him.

"This video means so much to me!! I'm so excited to finally be able to ruin your life!" Zara said of the visuals in a statement. "I think we've all been through it, at least at one point in life have you wished for something that you know deep down isn't good for you and that you know, 'This isn't going to gain me anything, but I just want him or her back.' "

She continued, "I look at my phone all the time because I want him to hit me up or I want her to take me back, even though we fought all the time, or even though it was really s**t."

"Ruin My Life" serves as the first single off her upcoming third studio album, which still doesn't have a title nor release date. It will be a follow-up to her 2015 record "So Good".
