The former 'Desperate Housewives' star writes an open letter to the U.S. president as a response to his sarcastic comeback at Christine Blasey Ford's testimony against Brett Kavanaugh.

AceShowbiz - Actress Teri Hatcher has opened up about the alleged sexual abuse she suffered as a child in an open letter to U.S. President Donald Trump.
The former "Desperate Housewives" star has taken to Instagram to share the note after the world leader appeared to publicly mock Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.
During a rally in Mississippi this week, ends October 05, President Trump seemingly took aim at Ford for testifying in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, explaining that she did not remember some of the details of the alleged assault.
Hatcher reveals she fully understood Ford's predicament, as the alleged abuse she experienced began when she was five years old and while she may not remember all of the details, she distinctly recalls the despicable act itself.
"Here's what I remember," she writes on Instagram. "His erect penis, that he was stroking as he sat behind the wheel of the car. 'Do you want to touch it?' he asked. I said, 'No.' He took my hand to touch it anyway. It was pink. There were tissues. I didn't know what they were for, but then I did."
"I was face down on the seat looking at the floor as he violated me," she continues. "He said, 'Do you like how this feels?' I said, 'No.' He said, 'Someday you will.' "
Teri then goes on to explain that sexual assault survivors often do forget some details about what they experience, but that doesn't make them any less credible.
"Mr. President, I am a survivor, who stands available to help you understand the way the memories of a trauma like that work," she continues. "It might be hard for you to understand. I can readily explain in detail that 'I don't remember' is often the most honest response surrounding questions of an assault. It does NOT mean it didn't happen. Please do not add 'Mocked by President' to the injury list of a sexual survivor. It's just plain wrong."
