AceShowbiz - "Daredevil" season 3 releases its trailer at New York Comic-Con on Thursday, October 4. The 2-and-a-half-minute trailer offers a glimpse of the return of Wilson Fisk a.k.a. The Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) and the chaos that follows as well the shocking turntable.

The trailer opens with Charlie Cox's Daredevil saying in voiceover, "I used to listen to people asking for help. What I was trying to do is help people. But I was fooling myself, darkness only responds to darkness."

Later, The Kingpin appears on the screen, vowing to destroy the titular character. "I've tried to make this city a better place," The Kingpin tells the crowd, before he's later seen confronting the attorney by day and vigilante by night. "I'll tell the world who you really are, someone who's now showing his true colors," he threatens as the scene of Daredevil beating some people out flickers on the screen.

"Daredevil is out true public enemy!" The Kingpin declares in his speech and when multiple local TV news report that Daredevil brutally attacks civillians, he smiles a huge smile while watching the TV. But is that really Daredevil? It turns out someone posing as him as the real Daredevil, who dons a black outfit with a black beanie that covers his eyes, asks the faux Daredevil, "Who are you?"

The brutal Daredevil confidently answers, "I'm Daredevil."

Season 3 of the Netflix's Marvel superhero series will reportedly be based on Frank Miller's 1980 "Born Again" comics storyline. It follows the revelation of Daredevil's secret identity after Karen Page sells the knowledge to his enemies. Kingpin then uses it to destroy Matt's life. Matt, who is driven to paranoia and insanity, is saved by Sister Maggie, who turns out to be his mother.

The upcoming season marks the first season with Erik Oleson onboard as showrunner, replacing Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez who were co-showrunners in the sophomore season of the series. Deborah Ann Woll reprises her role as Karen Page. Also returning for the new season is Elden Henson who will once again play Foggy Nelson.

Season 3 of "Daredevil" is expected to arrive on October 19 on Netflix.
