AceShowbiz - Lily Allen has admitted she slept with female escorts after her marriage to Sam Cooper broke down.
The 33-year-old singer made the confession after she was informed by her publicist that parts of her upcoming memoirs, My Thoughts Exactly, were leaked to British newspaper The Mail on Sunday.
In a post on Instagram on Saturday, September 01, Lily explained she had slept with the women while on her Sheezus tour back in 2014.
"Sooo, in my book 'My Thoughts Exactly' (out on 20th Sept) I detail some stuff from my dark days, around the Sheezus era," she captioned a throwback snap of her holding a bottle of vodka. "I slept with female escorts when I was on tour, cause I was lost and lonely and looking for something.
"I'm not proud, but I'm not ashamed. I don't do it anymore," the mother-of-two added.
Lily also shared a screenshot of an email, warning her about the leak to the Daily Mail, and informing her that those who received early copies of her memoirs had to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
"Not many that I'm aware of on the list who would stoop so low so I'm going to go through the rest to try and work out who's responsible," her publicist wrote.
Lily and Sam wed in 2011, and split in 2016. The couple shares custody of daughters Ethel, six, and five-year-old Marnie.
The Smile hitmaker opened up earlier this year about the difficulties she faced while on the Sheezus tour.
"I was spending long periods away, late nights, tour buses and a rock and roll lifestyle. It was tough," she confessed. "When you are waking up in the middle of nowhere and you've missed five FaceTimes (video calls) from your little ones."
