AceShowbiz - David Beckham's speeding case has been delayed by a week by magistrates at a court in south London.
The former England soccer captain, 43, was due to appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court in Clapham on Tuesday, August 28 to face charges of driving his $206,000 (£160,000) Bentley at 59 miles (94 kilometres) per hour in a 40 miles (64 kilometres) per hour zone in west London.
David, who pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier this month, did not appear in court when magistrates adjourned his case until 4 September to allow for a case management hearing.
The trial is now scheduled to be heard at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court in south London next month.
According to the Daily Mirror, the sportsman's charge sheet states that the alleged offence occurred in the early evening on 23 January. If found guilty of the offence he could be hit with a driving ban or a fine.
