Among those named are OTF Jam and two men allegedly hired by Durk to carry out the assassination attempt.
The case centers on claims that Lil Durk orchestrated the attack on Quando Rondo as retaliation for the 2020 shooting death of King Von, a close affiliate of Durk’s Only the Family (OTF) label. Prosecutors contend that Durk acted as the ringleader, directing members of his crew to carry out the violent retaliation.
In 2022, Rondo survived an ambush at a Los Angeles gas station, but the attack tragically resulted in the death of his cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson. Prosecutors revealed they possess previously unseen footage documenting several attempts to kill Quando Rondo, adding weight to their case.
Legal commentator Melanie Goolsby, covering the trial through her “I’m Not a Lawyer But…” series, reported that the cooperating witnesses set to testify include OTF Jam, Kavon “Cuz” Grant, and Keith Jones, the latter two identified as the alleged hitmen hired by Durk. The trial proceedings included viewing graphic evidence, with YouTuber Charles Ross (Trap Lore Ross) and rapper Machine Gun Kelly reportedly present during the presentation of violent footage and autopsy photos. These images showed the fatal gunshot wounds suffered by Robinson, including injuries to his bicep and heart, underscoring the brutality of the crime.
