AceShowbiz - Pharrell Williams had to force Ariana Grande to record a tribute track to the fans who lost their lives in a bomb attack outside a British concert last year (17), because she was still so choked up about the tragedy.

Get Well Soon, which appears on her new album Sweetener, is dedicated to the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing, and in a new Paper interview with pal and collaborator Troye Sivan, the No Tears Left to Cry singer admits it was a tough song to record.

"He (Pharrell) kind of forced it out of me," Grande says, "because I was in a really bad place mentally. I've always had anxiety, I've had anxiety for years. But when I got home from tour it reached a very different, intense peak.

"(Pharrell) was like, 'You have to write about it. You need to make this into music and get this s**t out, and I promise it will heal you'. And it definitely helped."

The track features a long silence at the end and an overall running time of five minutes and 22 seconds (5:22), to symbolise the date of the tragedy - 22 May (17).
