A representative for the 'Grease' star dismisses reports that her cancer returned after she canceled two speaking appearances.

AceShowbiz - Olivia Newton-John has dismissed reports she is battling cancer again after cancelling a couple of upcoming appearances.

The Grease star beat breast cancer over two decades ago, but last year it returned and she had to postpone her An Evening With Olivia Newton-John tour.

She has since returned to touring, but recently had to cancel two speaking appearances amid reports she was fighting cancer again.

However, a representative for the singer and actress has hit back at the claims, insisting she simply had a scheduling issue.

"Olivia Newton-John's two upcoming speaking appearances in Australia were canceled due to scheduling conflicts with her upcoming promotional tour for her new book, Don't Stop Believin, and the ONJ Cancer Wellness & Research Centre's Wellness Walk & Research Run - not illness, as falsely reported," her publicist, Michael Caprio, tells the New York Post's Page Six.

"She's looking forward to walking with everyone at the Wellness Walk on 16 September in Melbourne and is excited that this year the walk is going global and people can support it by becoming virtual walkers from wherever they are in the world".

Last year, Olivia revealed she was "feeling great" and opened up about how she was coping with her cancer battle, revealing she used cannabis to help her deal with the pain.

"It's a plant that has been maligned for so long, and has so many abilities to heal," she told The Daily Telegraph. "I will do what I can to encourage it. It's an important part of treatment, and it should be available. I use it for the pain and it's also a medicinal thing to do - the research shows it's really helpful".
