AceShowbiz - One of Nick Jonas' worries has been lifted up when he earned his future mother-in-law's stamp of approval. In a new interview with DNA India, Priyanka Chopra's mother, Madhu, opened up about the twosome's recent engagement party, revealing that she couldn't be more impressed by the youngest Jonas brother.

"Nick is calm and mature. He's a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him. He's so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want!" she told the publication, adding that she believed the "Home" singer was a perfect partner for her daughter because "I always trust Priyanka's judgment."

"She's not impulsive. She gave it a lot of thought and when she decided on something, I was sure it would be good," she continued. Talking about their engagement bash, Madhu said that Nick "enjoyed the prayers during the puja."

"It was a new thing for him and he took it seriously. He followed what our panditji said, and chanted the Sanskrit mantras accurately," she continued. "Both he and his parents did it beautifully. They are nice people." She also mentioned that she became "emotional" during the prayer because her husband would not be able to see their daughter getting married.

As for when and where Priyanka and Nick would tie the knot, Madhu said that nothing had been decided yet. "They haven't decided on a wedding date yet. It's too soon," the Indian woman noted. "Both of them have work commitments right now which they need to finish. They will take some time to decided where they want it and when they want it."

While their wedding plans have yet to be arranged, Madhu already made it clear that she wanted "a traditional Indian wedding." She said, "I'm a modern mother but at heart, I'm quite conservative."

Priyanka and Nick confirmed their engagement rumors last week when they held an engagement bash in India.
