AceShowbiz - The Eagles album "Their Greatest Hits" (1971-1975) has passed Michael Jackson's "Thriller" as the bestselling album of all time.
The 1976 album is certified 38-times platinum, selling over 38 million copies and streams, compared to Thriller's 33 million.
The band's 1977 release, "Hotel California", comes in third with 26 million copies sold.
"We are grateful for our families, our management, our crew, the people at radio and, most of all, the loyal fans who have stuck with us through the ups and downs of 46 years," a statement from Don Henley to the Associated Press reads. "It's been quite a ride."
