AceShowbiz - Former "Diff'rent Strokes" star Todd Bridges has been slapped with a temporary restraining order from an ex-girlfriend amid allegations of threatening behaviour.

Tiffany Wolf claims she met the actor on a dating website, and during their first date, he showed off a taser gun and reportedly fired it near her face.

Despite the alleged incident, she continued seeing Bridges, but grew fearful around him after he purportedly "pulled a gun on a dog because he thought someone was breaking in".

According to court papers obtained by The Blast, she goes on to recall the actor allegedly telling her he had "shot someone before & did not know whether they lived or died".

They split in May, but Wolf claims he started hassling her on social media weeks later, causing her extreme anxiety.

She has now been granted a protection order, banning Bridges from going within 100 yards (91.44 metres) of her or her pets.

A hearing into the dispute has been set for later this month, but the news emerges days after Bridges obtained a similar order against another former lover, porn star Melissa Hill, who he broke up with in July.

The actor expressed fears that Hill was out for revenge and, as well as fearing for his own safety, he was concerned she might try to poison his pooch.
