AceShowbiz - Wilmer Valderrama continues proving that he will always support Demi Lovato even though they are no longer dating. The "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" star, who dated the singer for six years, was spotted visiting her at Cedars-Sina Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, July 26.

The actor was pictured talking on the phone as a staff member gave him access to the medical building. He sported a light jacket, jeans and a pair of sneakers during his visit, looking extremely serious and concerned. Wilmer also appeared to be carrying something as he made his way into the building. Reports said that he "stayed for five hours."

This marks his second time visiting Demi after she was rushed to hospital for an apparent overdose. For his first visit, Wilmer reportedly stayed over two hours and seemed "very down." According to a source, he was "somber and quiet and you could tell he was in a very serious mood. He arrived and left by himself."

According to The Blast, the "From Dusk Till Dawn" actor is "one of the only people who has been around her, besides her mom." That's to be expected though, as he was reportedly "shocked" by the news of her overdose. "He knew she was going through a tough time but he wasn't prepared for this," a source previously said. "He saw her through so many up and downs and was her rock through some of her darkest moments. To see her back in such a sad and vulnerable place is heartbreaking for him."

Demi was hospitalized after being found unconscious at a home in the Hollywood Hills on Tuesday afternoon. Her rep later said in a statement that the singer "is awake and with her family." Prior to her overdose, she was seen partying all night long to celebrate her backup dancer's, Dani Vitale, birthday. A video from the bash has emerged online, showing her looking very quiet as her friends went wild.
