AceShowbiz - Netflix has released a new promo for upcoming season 3 of "Stranger Things". The new video introduces fans to the Starcourt Mall, a new mall which is just opening in Hawkins, Indiana, in a form of a very '80s ad.

Dubbed as "one of the finest shopping facilities in America and beyond," the mall may be one of the most signifact settings in the upcoming season of the hit sci-fi series. In addition to taking fans to a tour to the mall, the promo offers the first look at new character played by Maya Thurman-Hawke.

Maya's Robin is seen behind the cash register at ice cream shop Scoop Ahoy, which is located at the mall. Donning a sailor-themed outfit, Robin is joined by Steve (Joe Keery). She later awkwardly promotes the ice cream, exclaiming, "Ahoy!"

Robin is described as an alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful. Bored with her mundane day job, she just wants a little excitement in her life and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins.

The promo concludes with an announcement that the Starcourt Mall will open "next summer." Fans assume that it's a possible hint of the premiere date of season 3. Should it be true, then fans of the Netflix series have to wait a little bit longer since the previous season 2 was premiered in October last year.

In season 3, Maya will join returning actors, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo, as series regular. Caleb McLaughlin, Winona Ryder, Cars Buono, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink, David Harbour and Natalia Dyer will also reprise their respective roles in the highly-anticipated new season.
