The new series will show different artists, including Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson, showing up unexpectedly to honor fans who are giving back to the community.

AceShowbiz - Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is developing an online series inspired by the band's Sugar video.

The group released the video, which featured the rockers crashing several weddings in Los Angeles in 2014, and the new series, also titled Sugar, will show different artists, including Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson, showing up unexpectedly to honour fans who are giving back to the community.

Charlie Puth and rappers Snoop Dogg, A$AP Ferg, and Bad Bunny will also be featured in the eight-episode series, during which they will treat deserving devotees to surprise concerts and other events.

"I'm really excited to show this interesting show/experiment filled with many different experiences and emotions based on the concept behind our video for Sugar," a statement from Levine adds. "I'm extremely grateful and equally excited for all who participated on both sides of the camera."

The series will premiere on YouTube Premium on 15 August, according to Billboard.
