AceShowbiz - Rapper Tekashi69 has scored a deal in his assault case and he'll be released from New York's Rikers Island prison a week early.
On Thursday, July 12, a judge denied bail on the grounds the star was a flight risk - and he ordered the Gotti hitmaker to remain behind bars until a court hearing on 20 July, which will determine the details of his extradition to Texas, where he's wanted on assault charges after allegedly choking a teenager at a Houston mall.
But his lawyers have scored him a get-out-of-jail pass.
Tekashi, aka 6ix9ine, will be released once he pays his $150,000 (GBP113,000) bail - but he must surrender to authorities in Harris County, Texas on Monday, July 16 and pay another $5,000 (GBP3,800) bail fee there, according to TMZ.
