AceShowbiz - Actress Diane Lane is returning the world of DC Comics superheroes to lead the cast of TV series "Y: The Last Man".
The "Unfaithful" star, who played Superman's mum in "Justice League", "Man of Steel", and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", will star in the drama based on the acclaimed post-apocalyptic science fiction DC comic book series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra.
Barry Keoghan, Imogen Poots, and Marin Ireland will also appear in the movie.
Lane will play Senator Jennifer Brown, the mother of Keoghan's Yorick Brown, who is the lone male survivor of a worldwide plague, according to Deadline sources. Poots will play his sister, Hero.
