Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as Prince Charles and Camilla were among the attendees at the event.

AceShowbiz - Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge gathered with close family and friends in London on Monday, July 09, to celebrate the christening of their baby boy, Prince Louis.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, performed the ceremony at The Chapel Royal in St. James's Palace, where guests included the 11-week-old's siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as royal grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and uncle Prince Harry and his new wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

Catherine's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton were also in attendance, as was her brother James, and pregnant sister Pippa and her husband James Matthews.

At his christening, Prince Louis wore a handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, made by Angela Kelly, Dressmaker to The Queen – the original Royal Christening Robe, of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was made in 1841 for the christening of Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, Princess Royal 📷PA

Shortly before the ceremony, royal officials at Kensington Palace announced the young prince would have six godparents, including Prince William's close friends, Guy Pelly and Nicholas van Cutsem, and Catherine's cousin, Lucy Middleton.

Prince Louis' great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and great-grandfather, Prince Philip, were noticeably absent from the family celebration. They have both battled ill health in recent weeks, with the monarch pulling out of a special service at St. Paul's Cathedral in late June due to a cold.
