AceShowbiz - Actor Bryan Cranston has enjoyed a "bittersweet" reunion with his "Breaking Bad" co-stars to mark the 10th anniversary of the show's premiere.

Editors at Entertainment Weekly recently brought Cranston back together with TV sidekick Aaron Paul and creator Vince Gilligan for their celebratory cover interview and photoshoot, which also featured castmates Bob Odenkirk, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, and RJ Mitte.

The chat proved to be incredibly emotional for the old friends and colleagues, and leading man Bryan, who starred as a cancer-stricken chemistry teacher-turned-drug kingpin Walter White on the hit series, admits he had mixed feelings about the gathering, because while he was thrilled to reconnect with his castmates, he was saddened Breaking Bad is no more.

"You can't just move on. Something that was so indelible and meaningful in your life and you can't, and I don't want to," he told the magazine. "I want to hold on to those good memories of that gathering, both then and during our seven years together. So, it's a bit melancholy, actually. Bittersweet."

Aaron was equally as moved by the reunion, because it was that TV family which helped him break into Hollywood.

"I love these people," he said. "I feel blessed to have shared this incredible experience that is 'Breaking Bad' with each and every one of these people.

"I remember when we were shooting the first season, Dean and I were talking, he goes, 'You know, in 10 years, we're going to look back and say, 'Godd**mit! I used to be a part of 'Breaking Bad'!' And now it's crazy that 10 years has passed (since its launch), and I am still constantly thinking that. It's like, wow, how lucky we all are."

"Breaking Bad" ran for five seasons, from 2008 until 2013.

Odenkirk has since gone on to reprise his role as cunning lawyer Saul Goodman for the series spin-off, the prequel "Better Call Saul", with season four set to debut this August, 2018.
