The 'Expendables' actor will follow the likes of Rob Lowe, Charlie Sheen, James Franco, and Justin Bieber.

AceShowbiz - Joseph Gordon-Levitt is reuniting with his Looper co-star Bruce Willis to emcee the action man's upcoming Comedy Central TV roast.

The Expendables actor will follow the likes of Rob Lowe, Charlie Sheen, James Franco, and Justin Bieber when he becomes the butt of the joke as friends and comedians rip him to pieces during The Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis, which is set to film at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on 14 July. The special will air in the U.S. on 29 July.

Gordon-Levitt played a younger version of Bruce's character in 2012's Looper, and he reveals he jumped at the chance to be the roast master during the TV special.

"I've looked up to Bruce my whole life," he says. "I was genuinely honoured to work alongside him and, in essence, play him when we made Looper together. He has treated me with absolutely nothing but warmth and kindness. And so I look forward to mercilessly making fun of him on TV".

Other guests set to join in the fun of the TV roast will be announced in the near future.
