Chadwick Boseman, who played the titular superhero in the film, won Best Performance in a Movie as well as Best Hero. Michael B. Jordan also took home Best Villain for his portrayal of Eric Killmonger in the film.

Meanwhile, "Stranger Things" won Best Show Award. The show additionally won Best Musical Moment for the scene where Mike and Eleven dance to The Police's "Every Breath You Take". Its star, Millie Bobby Brown, took home Best Performance in a Show for her Eleven role. Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers on the show, nabbed Most Frightened Performance.

Also at the event, Madelaine Petsch was named the Scene Stealer for her role on "Riverdale". Meanwhile, Nick Robinson and Keiynan Lonsdale won Best Kiss for their kissing scene in "Love, Simon". Keiynan accepted the award and urged kids to live their dreams.

"I just want to say to every kid, if you can live your dreams and wear dresses, you can live your dreams -- you can live your dreams kiss the one that you love no matter what gender they are," he said. "You can live you dreams and you can believe in magic. You can live your dreams and you can be yourself."

Other winners at the award-giving show included "It", which won Best On-Screen Team, and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", which won Best Reality Series/Franchise.
