David Beckham Got a Sweet Letter From Daughter Harper on Father's Day

'I love you Daddy and hope you have a special day,' the little girl wrote in a decorated, handwritten letter.

AceShowbiz - David Beckham was all loved up on Father's Day, thanks to a really sweet letter from his six-year-old daughter.

Little Harper, who is the youngest of the retired soccer star, model and entrepreneur's four kids, decided to tell her dad what he meant to her by writing it down - and he posted the adorable note online.

In the decorated, handwritten letter, the youngster wrote: "Thank you Daddy for being kind and helpful, for helping me snow board and do tricks. For helping me with my tricky homework, and for helping me paint pretty pictures. Thank you for all the the fun we have together, for hugging me until I almost burst, For playing football with me, and for going to smiggle with me".

She added: "Thank you Daddy for making me laugh, for playing the hand wrestle game, for telling me funny jokes, and for playing silly pranks on me. Thank you Daddy for being you, for loving me with all your heart, for tickling me in bed, and for taking care of me. Thank you Daddy for being the best in evr (sic). I love you Daddy and hope you have a special day".

Beckham's fashion designer wife, Victoria Adams a.k.a. Victoria Beckham, also heaped on the love, posting a photo of David with his three youngest kids on Instagram and writing: "I think the love him x Truly the best daddy @davdbeckham x missing u @brooklynbeckham (sic)".

Brooklyn Beckham, who is studying in New York, was not featured in the snap, but he surprised dad with breakfast in the family's London home.

Gushing about his kids on Instagram, David said: "I'm so proud of each of my four children. Each with their own personality from such an early age, they are incredible individuals in their own right".

He also revealed that his work with the charity UNICEF has made him realise how important family time is to him: "For me, and many of the mums and dads I've spoken to over the years, it comes down to two things, love and fear. It's these emotions that push us to achieve more for our children every day. My work with UNICEF reminds me that parents all over the world experience these same emotions, no matter on their circumstance".
