AceShowbiz - Rapper Rich the Kid was hospitalised on Thursday night, June 14 after confronting armed robbers at his girlfriend's Los Angeles home.
Two masked men reportedly forced their way into Tori Brixx's pad, while Rich was visiting, and demanded cash and jewellery from the pair.
The 25-year-old, real name Dimitri Leslie Roger, is said to have tried to fight them off, but he was overpowered after three more criminals stormed in, brandishing guns, and beat him up, according to TMZ.com.
The robbers managed to get away with their haul, while the Plug Walk MC was taken to a nearby hospital to seek treatment for his injuries.
Police were called following the incident, but it's not yet clear if Rich the Kid or Brixx actually filed an official report.
Representatives for the star have yet to comment on the attack, but he appeared to confirm reports of his beating early on Friday, June 15, when a caption-less photo of Rich the Kid lying in a hospital bed, wearing a neck brace, was posted to his Instagram page.
The news emerges hours after he filed legal papers seeking joint custody of his two children in his divorce battle with his estranged wife Antonette Willis.
She moved to end the couple's marriage in March, and requested spousal and child support for their one-year-old kid Queen and two-year-old, named King.
