The actor and comedian makes a sizeable donation to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in the wake of his sister-in-law's tragic suicide.

AceShowbiz - David Spade has donated $100,000 (£74,000) to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
According to editors at People, the actor and comedian made the sizeable donation to the organisation in the wake of sister-in-law Kate Spade's tragic suicide.
The American fashion designer, who was married to David's brother Andy, reportedly hanged herself in her New York City apartment and was found by her housekeeper last week (June 05).
"More people suffer from mental health issues than we may realise but no one should ever feel ashamed to reach out for support," David said in a statement. "If you or anyone you know is in need of help or guidance please contact the national suicide prevention hotline at 800-273-8255 or go to nami.org to learn more and help those who may be in need."
NAMI is a large grassroots mental health organisation dedicated to building better lives for the millions affected by mental illness through educational programmes and support groups.
