Pearl Jam Honors Anthony Bourdain With 'Long Road' Performance at Amsterdam Show

The band dedicates their rendition of the song to the late celebrity chef while kicking off off their European tour in Amsterdam.

AceShowbiz - Pearl Jam kicked off their European tour in Amsterdam by paying tribute to tragic chef and TV jet-setter Anthony Bourdain.

Eddie Vedder took a moment during Tuesday's, June 12 concert at the Ziggo Dome venue to honour Bourdain, who committed suicide last week, ends June 08.

"We dedicate this to Anthony, my friend David, his brother Andrew," the singer said ahead of a performance of Long Road. "They are deep in our hearts tonight".

Bourdain was also honoured by Bono during a U2 show at Harlem's Apollo Theater in New York on Monday night - calling the late chef "a great storyteller", the rocker said, "So, for Anthony Bourdain, and his friends and family, this is a song inspired by a great, great, great friend of ours".

The Irish band then performed Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of - a track written following the death of INXS singer Michael Hutchence.
