'The Predator' TV Spot Reveals Genetically-Modified Alien
Movie

The new genetically-engineered predator is not just scarier, but also much bigger.

AceShowbiz - The alien threat is literally much bigger in "The Predator". Released during NBA Finals, a new TV spot for the upcoming movie introduces a genetically-modified Mega-Predator, which is much bigger and more menacing than the regular-size Predator.

The newly-introduced Mega-Predator shows up toward the end of the video, interrupting the regular-size Predator while the latter is attacking humans. The Mega-Predator is staring down the regular-size Predator, hinting at a Predator vs. Predator showdown.

The TV spot also reveals that Boyd Holbrook's Quinn McKenna and his sniper crew make the first contact with the alien in Mexico. He is then summoned by the U.S. Army, but a bus which he rides on is again attacked by the alien.

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black's explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

Olivia Munn plays Casey Bracket, a science teacher who joins the crew's mission, finds out about the alien's evolution. Jacob Tremblay stars as Rory McKenna, Quinn's son, who accidentally unleashes the alien.

Trevante Rhodes, Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane and Yvonne Strahovski are also starring in the reboot, which is directed by Shane Black. John Davis, Joel Silver and Lawrence Gordon, who produced the original, return to produce the new installment.

"The Predator" is set to be released in U.S. theaters on September 14.
