AceShowbiz - Pop stars Nick Jonas and Bebe Rexha have sparked rumours of a budding new romance after enjoying a dinner date together in Los Angeles on Monday, May 21.

Both the Jealous hitmaker and Bebe had just performed on the TV finale of the rebooted American Idol when they were snapped arriving separately at Hollywood hotspot Craig's.

They also made sure not to be photographed leaving together, but Bebe did little to silence the gossip as she exited the eatery with a huge smile across her face, according to video footage obtained by TheBlast.com.

"Are you doing a song with Nick? Is that why you're meeting him?" one paparazzo asked, as the beaming Girls singer coyly replied, "No..."

Her response prompted fans to comment on the get-together on Twitter, with one posting, "Hows your date with nick jonas (sic)???lol (laugh out loud)," while another remarked, "girl you and @nickjonas looking so good together..."

However, not every follower was hoping the meal was a romantic one - others simply wished it would lead to a sweet duet.

"Please tell me you collabs with Nick Jonas (sic)?!?", wrote one fan.

Nick and Bebe have yet to comment on the speculation.

The former Jonas Brothers star previously dated Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and ex-beauty queen Olivia Culpo, and was most recently spotted kissing a mystery brunette while on vacation in Australia in February.
