AceShowbiz - "The Handmaid's Tale" actress Yvonne Strahovski is set to become a first-time mother. The 35-year-old took to Instagram on Friday, May 11 to share a photo of her growing belly as she broke the news to fans.

"I am very excited to finally be able to share my special news," she wrote. "I'm going to be a Mama! So very exciting to watch & feel this little Peanut growing every day!"

Ironically, the actress portrays Serena Joy Waterford, a woman who is unable to conceive, on "The Handmaid's Tale".

The child will be Yvonne's first with actor Tim Loden, whom she quietly wed last summer. They made their debut as husband and wife on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards in September.
