The new comedies are multi-camera series 'Abby's' and single-camera show 'I Feel Bad' that hail from 'SNL' alum Michael Shur and Amy Poehler respectively.

AceShowbiz - Jack Griffin will still be around for another season! NBC has decided to give its freshman comedy "A.P. Bio" a renewal for a second season.
The comedy series follows Griffin (Glenn Howerton), a disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar who returns to his hometown of Toledo, Ohio, to teach advanced-placement biology. The teacher, however, decides not to teach any biology. Realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, he decides instead to use the kids to his own benefit.
Also starring Patton Oswalt, Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Jean Villepique and Tom Bennett among others, "A.P. Bio" is written and executive produced by "Saturday Night Live" alum Mike O'Brien. He executive produces alongside Seth Meyers. Meanwhile, Universal Television, Broadway Video, and Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions produce the series.
Following its debut on Februay 1, "A.P. Bio" has been averaging 3.7 million total viewers. It also pulled in a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic when factoring in seven days of ratings.
In addition, NBC has picked up two new comedies to series. They are multi-camera series "Abby's" and single-camera show "I Feel Bad". Hailing from "The Good Place" creator Michael Shur, "Abbys" features "Parks and Recreation" alum Natalie Morales as the titular character.
Abby is the owner of the best bar in San Diego, home to good prices, great company and, of course, Abby. This unlicensed, makeshift bar nestled in her backyard is the opposite of everything annoying about today’s party scene. There are rules at Abby's: no cell phones (not even to "look something up"), earning a seat at the bar takes time, and losing a challenge means drinking a limey, sugary "not beer" drink. As the oddball cast of regulars will tell you, hanging out at Abby's is a coveted honor. But once you're in, you're family.
The cast includes Nelson Franklin, Kimia Behpoornia, Jessica Chaffin, Leonard Ouzts and Neil Flynn. Josh Malmuth writes and executive produces the series. Joining Malmuth as EP are Schur and David Miner, while Pamela Fryman directed and executive-produced the pilot.
As for "I Feel Bad", the new comedy is written by Aseem Batra, who executive produces alongside Amy Poehler, Dave Becky and Josh Maurer. Julie Anne Robinson directed and executive-produced the pilot.
It stars Sarayu Blue as Emet, the perfect mom, boss, wife, friend, and daughter, who is not actually perfect at all. In fact, she’s just figuring it out like the rest of us. Sure, she feels bad when she has a sexy dream about someone other than her husband, or when she pretends not to know her kids when they misbehave in public, or when she uses her staff to help solve personal problems. But that's okay, right? Nobody can have it all and do it perfectly.
"I Feel Bad" also stars Paul Adelstein, Aisling Bea, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton and James Buckley.
