AceShowbiz - Queen and Adam Lambert are headed to Las Vegas later this year for a limited residency. The former "American Idol" star has been touring the world in recent years with Roger Taylor and Brian May and now the trio has announced plans to perform at the Park Theater at the MGM Grand, beginning in September.

"It's for three weeks, we're so excited," Adam told "Live with Kelly and Ryan" on Monday, May 7. "We've never done (this) before, so this is something different. We're calling it The Crown Jewels... You'll be humming The Crown Jewels all night. It'll be great, you'll love it."

"We're ready to take on the ultimate challenge... to dazzle Vegas!," guitarist May adds in a press release. The current Queen line-up joins the likes of Gwen Stefani, Mariah Carey, and Barry Manilow, who are all launching new residencies in Sin City this year.
