The 'American Idol' alum belted out the National Anthem ahead of the game between her husband Mike Fisher's team the Nashville Predators and the Winnipeg Jets.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood returned to the National Hockey League spotlight on Sunday, April 29, to perform the U.S. National Anthem ahead of her sportsman husband Mike Fisher's latest Stanley Cup Playoffs game.
Fisher previously served as the captain of the Nashville Predators and helped to lead the team to its first Stanley Cup Finals last year (2017), before announcing his retirement in August. However, he decided to return to the ice and his old team in January, and as the Predators prepared for Game 2 of their playoffs series against the Winnipeg Jets at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Sunday, Fisher's country superstar wife was on hand to give the hometown side a big morale boost.
Carrie proudly wore a Predators shirt with her husband's number as she belted out "The Star-Spangled Banner" to kick off the second round event, which Fisher's team won 5-4 to tie the series 1-1.
It marked the singer's second public performance since she suffered a broken wrist and required 40 stitches in her face following a nasty fall at the couple's home in Tennessee in November 2017.
She made her onstage comeback with a triumphant rendition of her new single "Cry Pretty" at the ACM Awards on April 15.
Underwood isn't the first big name to take on the national anthem honors for the Predators during the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Maren Morris, Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts have also hit the ice for the team in recent weeks.
