'I think she'll probably have some growing pains because she's currently running the house right now,' the 'All of Me' singer opens up about his worry as he and wife Chrissy Teigen are expecting their second child.

AceShowbiz - John Legend has joked his daughter Luna will struggle to accept her baby brother as she rules the roost at home. Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen announced they were expecting their second child in November 2017, and revealed the sex of their impending bundle of joy back in January.

And the star is worried that their two-year-old daughter will have trouble welcoming her little brother. "Luna's gonna be an issue. I think she'll probably have some growing pains because she's currently running the house right now," he told his "Jesus Christ Superstar Live!" co-star Sara Bareilles at the Tribeca Film Festival, reports Page Six.

"She's used to being the centre of everything right now so we'll see how she adjusts to sharing the spotlight," he added.

The star's friends have rallied round him and Teigen to give them valuable advice on how to deal with an older sibling when bringing home a new baby, and one tip was to buy a gift from the baby to give to Luna. "I've (also) heard that I should bring Luna to him so it doesn't feel like we're all just sitting there with this new guy, like, 'Who this?' " he laughed.

Legend is no stranger to writing songs about his loved ones, as he wrote hit "All of Me" for his model wife, and "Right By You" from his last album, "Darkness and Light", for his daughter.

And as he awaits the birth of his second child, he told Sara, "I've already started thinking about songs for my son."

The singer, real name John Stephens, is one of four children, and travels with his big brother around the world. "I was No. 2 in my family," he explained. "My older brother travels with me all the time, he works with me, he cuts my hair, he takes all of the photos you see on my Instagram of all my shows. He's always been really supportive of me and takes good care of me so I have a good example of what a good older sibling should be like."
